Whitney Houston’s fans in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago went home disappointed when she has lost her voice at a concert last Sunday, April 27.
The incident took place at the sold out Plymouth Jazz Festival when Whitney was about to wrap up her 30-minute performance. Her voice became scratchy amd raspy which made her unable to hit the high notes of her phenomenal signature single “I will Always Love You”.
Even if there were lots of journalists at the venue, the media and photographers were disallowed to take photos and to be within 200 feet of the stage. Only her own photographer was allowed to take a shoot of her performance.
It was reported that Whitney took out $3 million for delivering seven songs for a 30-minute performance at this particular event.
The audience were also surprised when Whitney consistently shouted “I love you Tobago” when in fact she was in the southern Carribbean island of Trinidad.
Houston is rumored to come up with her new album featuring Akon, R. Kelly, and Ne-Yo later this year.
