A musical game show is set to make another history in Philippine TV as “Singing Bee”, hosted by ex-N’Sync member Joey Fatone in US, is now in the Philippines.

The show will premiere on April 19 and is hosted by actor Cesar ‘Buboy’ Montano.

“Singing Bee” consists of four elimination rounds: “To Be Continued” where contestants have to fill in a word of a particular line in a song; “Jumble Bee” where a song’s title is jumbled on a video screen; and the last two rounds “Showdown” and “Final Countdown” which will require contetants to fill in longer blanks in a song.

It will be aired five nights every week through ABS-CBN. Each episode is composed of six contestants (two of which are celebrities) who will compete for the chance to take home P1 million.

Aside from the exciting segments or rounds, a group of dancers called The Honey Bees and a band called the Band-Bol-Bee will also entertain the audience.
