Tanya Markova and Gloc-9: Shock Pop and Rap Mash Up
![]() |
It is going to be “shock pop meets rap” as Tanya Markova and Gloc-9 mash up their hits through Coke music studio, Coca-Cola’s new campaign that would surely catch Pinoy music lovers interest.
If you enjoyed the pilot week at the launch of Coke Music Studio’s website http://musicstudio.coca-cola.com.ph/, I would say it’s just a teaser for the real action which actually starts on episodes 2-3 featuring Tanya Markova and Gloc-9, as they collaborate and bring new flavor to their hits which are from two different genres, shock pop and rap genres. This brings a unique sound for Tanya Markova’s “Picture Picture” and Gloc-9′s “Bakit”.

Starting this week, Coke Music Studio will bring us closer to the artists through interviews with Tanya Markova and Gloc-9. Alongside, MYX’s VJ Janine shares some of the hit music videos today while VJ Bianca calls all the young and talented Pinoys to join Coca-Cola Music’s talent search.

Get to know more about Aristotle Pollisco or Gloc-9 and his musical influences. Unleash the mystery behind the band Tanya Markova, the alter egos and the band members. Through the interview, we’ll also get to know their thoughts about the mash-up.

Episode 3, of course, highlights the shock pop and rap fusion that turned out into a fresh and energizing mix. Honestly, I have never thought that such collaboration will ever take place but yes, it did happen.
Beat the summer heat through music. Of course, it will always be better while we’re having a bottle of Coke while watching these mash-ups, right? Watch out for the upcoming mash-ups at http://musicstudio.coca-cola.com.ph/.
