Pop Punk Canadian band Simple Plan will be rocking and ruling the concert stage at the Araneta Coliseum this coming August 2008.
Simple Plan, the band responsible for hits like “I’m Just a Kid”, “I’d Do Anything”, “Addicted”, “Perfect”, “Welcome to My Life”, “Shut Up!”, “Untitled”, “When I’m Gone”, “Your Love Is a Lie” and many more, will be having a concert at the Araneta Coliseum on August 4, 2008, Monday, at 8:00 PM.
Performing together with the band in Manila are “New Found Glory” an American pop punk band, and “Jamie Scott and The Town“.

damn!., why is that i think that many people here in philippines think that SimplePlan is better that NEWFOUNDGLORY., if u will all look in their performance in their music videos, the quality, the melody., NFG will 100% WIN!., if u only know NFG bec. of their revivals then pls here some more of their originals like MY FRIENDS OVER YOU, DRESSED TO KILL,ALL DOWNHILL FROM HERE, I DONT WANNA KNOW, HEAD ON COLLISION and OXYGEN., u will not regret listening to this songs!!., NFG IS BETTER THAN SIMPLE PLAN!., but BLINK182 is the best of them pop punk bands of all!! too bad they split up., here some blink songs too., its the BEST!! oh and i will be there in NFG AND SP concert to support POP PUNK MUSIC! for all EMO dont show all ur faces coz there not Emo dumbass!., POP PUNK RULEZZ!!

thank god my sister works in viva production so i get to have free tix with meet and greet access. cant wait to see NFG.. well i guess they are the only reason imoing to se ge this show. tix are tooooo expensive. my sister told me it is because of simple plan. anyways ill be leaving work early (no overtime this time stupdi ass I.T. supervisors) hehehehe..

I know this post is really late but I DID go to the show and it was the BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE!!!!! SIMPLE PLAN ROCKS!!! <33333
And BTW, I disagree with what some of you said. In MY opinion, Simple Plan is better than New Found Glory. First of all, SP has better songs, better lyrics, better music videos, better looks (not quite important but it helps build up the band’s charisma), and just better at everything. Sure, form an angry mob at me and run after me. I don’t care. NOTHING will make me change my mind. SP is better and I have loads more proof.
Truth is, after seeing NFG live, I just don’t want to listen to their music at all.
