Kevin Saunderson’s The Source

I know some techno fans or party people out there have already heard about Kevin Saunderson‘s arrival in Manila. He’s definitely coming and will play your favorite (techno) dance hits this coming Saturday, November 24, 2007 at Warehouse 135 in Makati. This event is brought by MTV.
Just tonight, I’ve got two VIP tickets to this event along with a bottle of Bacardi. Napansin ko lang, I’m getting a lot of freebies lately. Is it because my But unfortunately, I might not be able to go this one so I’m giving away my tickets to those who are interested. I’ve already announced it on my friendster account. Panalangin: The Dance Tour

Last sunday, I was invited to watch PANALANGIN by Douglas Nierras’ Powerdance at the Meralco Theater. It was a great show and the dancers are really great too. The “Coroner’s Report” piece was remarkable! By the way, I’ve learned something from this show–not how to dance but something about prayers. Douglas was right when he said that prayer can be anything that we do. It can be a simple letter or email we are sending or reading, a television show, a dance or even a song. It is also an art just like dancing.

Anyway, salamat dun sa nagbigay ng ticket! haha. You know who you are. =)

Next time free dance lesson naman ha?! haha..

Speaking of dance lesson, I heard that Nierras’ Powerdance Studio is offering unlimited attendance to its dance classes for a certain fee. I believe they teach hiphop, pilates, ballroom, dance aero, ballet, and jazz. Anyway, you can inquire and contact them at 995-8287 or 83.

Wendy’s Christmas Treat

Yesterday, I heard over the radio that Wendy’s has an ongoing promo. If I’m not mistaken, it just started few days ago and it will end some time this December. So today, right after a hard workout at the gym, I went to Wendy’s just to try out their offer.

So the deal is you have to buy the BIGGIE iced tea to get a five-peso burger. That’s it. Pretty cheap, huh, as compared to the 5-peso bulilit burger which was offered before by Burger Machine few years or maybe a decade ago. (Oh, I’m going back to my childhood days, hahaha!)

I believe, it cost me 56 pesos all in all (including the tax). With this amount, I know I can buy a combo meal (burger + fries) from another fast food restaurant, but Wendy’s is Wendy’s! (hehe..) For me, it’s next to McDonald’s. This five-peso burger doesn’t taste bad at all. It actually tastes like the cheeseburger mcdo minus the cheese. And expect that the patty is quite thinner but it’s far way better than the regular burgers of McDo and Jollibee.

By the way, I also purchased a biggie french fries. haha. I just can’t resist it. (Babawi na lang ako sa gym! hahaha!)

I’m Back!

I’m back to blogging! I didn’t have much time to post here for the past six months because of my internship at the Bank of the Philippine Islands. That was long, huh, but I enjoyed it. Aside from the reason that my previous blog was flooded by lots of spam comments (almost 10,000..badtrtip!), I don’t wanna be too much of a bum so I’ve decided to start blogging again and as well as to change my site’s look

I also want to take this chance to thank my colleagues and bosses at BPI HR-Corporate Communications & Employee Relations (Ms. Mikka, Ms. Grace, Ms. Maan, Sir Ricky, Sir Hans, Ms. Marivic, Ms. Reena, Ms. Rita and Ms. Fides) and as well as my co-interns from APC (Kish, Jennie, and Mikco). Thanks for the chances and tons of work (haha) you’ve given me. I really enjoyed my stay there. Until we see each other!
