I’m almost done with my whole list but still have to do some final touches. Anyway, here is the first half of my list of the Emerging Influential Blogs of 2008.

1. Cecile Maris: Ang Batang Palaboy - I agree on Atheista’s comment about Cecile: “Compared to all the personal blogs that won last year, I think Cecile: Ang Batang Palaboy manages to push the standards of this competition even higher. All her articles are well-written and despite the relative “newness” of her blog, she writes as if she’s been doing this for a very long time already. She knows what she’s doing and that’s not something that you could say for every other blogger out there.” And aside from that, the girl is really nice in person.

2. Build That Geek – If the sister (Cecile) makes it to my list, why not the younger brother? I see a great potential on this blog.

3. Brian Gorrell’s blog – Do I need to say more? Few days before it hit the web, I saw it in an online forum and few days after, it became the talk of the whole town.

4. Strange Fruit – I am a fan. Since I am not a morning person, there are times that I can’t listen to his and Delamar’s morning program on the radio. Chico’s blog never fails me. His blog entries make me laugh so hard, same as the fun and laughter they bring whenever I listen to Chico and Del’s program.
