The popular group My Chemical Romance is about to rock Manila as they are off to perform at the Fort Bonifacio Open Field this coming January 25, 2008 (friday, 8:00PM).
MCR will be the first international band to rock Manila this 2008 after successful tours of major international music icons such as Vertical Horizon, Akon, Fall Out Boy, Christina Aguilera, and Beyonce. This upcoming concert is intended to support their third album, The Black Parade (take note that this album made them earn a Grammy nomination), and is part of the Black Parade Tour which features 80 worldwide performances.

TICKETS
Tickets are available at the the ticketworld website. You can also purchase them at Robinson’s malls and National Bookstores. Gold tickets are sold at P3375.00 while silver tickets are up for grabs for only P2250.00. No announcements yet for the General Admission tickets. MY OPINION
Honestly, I was not into rock groups before but now I can appreciate such groups including Greenday, FallOut Boy and, of course, MCR. I actually love the song “Teenagers” especially the music video. Their “Famous Last Words” is great too. I believe the concert would be great and fun so this is gonna be worth watching. I just hope I have the money before the tickets and the good seats will run out, and I hope too that the media partners will be kind enough to give away the tickets! Tickets to MCR’s concert will definitely be a perfect birthday gift for me! lol.
