Breakout“, Miley Cyrus’ latest album is no Hannah Montana. But, this Disney star continues the hype and sensation with “Breakout” as it peaks to the top spot of Billboard 200, selling more than 371, 352 units on its first week.

Miley’s sophomore album takes the lead and beats Sugarland (with 313,624) in the recent Billboard 200 charts which makes the second biggest sales week of this year for a female artist, following Mariah Cary’s “E=MC2.

This is not the first time that Miley made this record. In fact, the “Hannah Montana” soundtrack released in 2006 also debuted no. 1 on Billboard Hot 100 and is certified 3x platinum, while her second release “Hannah Montana 2/Meet Miley Cyrus also took the no. 1 spot on Billboard Hot 100 and is certified 6x platinum.

“Breakout” doesn’t have any hint of Hannah Montana but this Disney character’s followers and non-followers, teens and adults alike will surely appreciate this album which takes us to Miley’s Rock’N'Roll journey. The album showcases twelve tracks and eight of which are written by Miley.
