Madonna takes the lead among the musicians who made it to Celebrity 100: World’s Most Powerful Celebrities, taking a step ahead of Beyonce Knowles who’s also included in the ranking.

Despite of all the intrigues, end of marriage with Guy Richie and adoption issues, Madonna takes the 3rd spot on the list for successful 58 concerts held in 17 countries worldwide, making her $280 Million richer.

Beyonce Knowles ranks 4th and bringing her up to the list are expansion of her fashion collection and several endorsements aside from albums and movies she had in the past year, while her “king” Jay-Z takes the 32nd spot for a 10-year deal with Live Nation worth $150 million.

Following Queen B on musicians in the list is Bruce Springsteen who ranked 6th for his fourth-highest-grossing tour in 2008 worth $166 million. On the other hand, the pop princess Britney Spears takes the lucky 13th spot and comes back to the list  because of “Circus” which is one of the fastest-selling albums of 2008. She has been one of the tabloids’ favorites.

Having the best-selling album last year, bagging a Best Album Grammy Award and successful concerts in 16 countries, British rock band Coldplay lands down to the 15th spot.
