Oops. Hold onto your seats. Lady Gaga might come over to Manila in the future, not now. Not just yet.  But, you might just see the Lady Gaga of Manila around.

Last April Fool’s Day, MCA Music Inc. together with Maldita, Bacardi, Dolce Superclub, Punto Miguel Resorts in Anilao, MAXFM 103.5 and MTV launched the Haus of Gaga Video Mix Party to officially release the newest single of Lady Gaga, Love Game.

The night was filled with everything Gaga! To set the right poptastic mood, video mixer DJ Gillette played songs from the debut album of Lady gaga, The Fame. The night started off with a dance number to the beat of Lady Gaga’s previous hot, number one hits namely Just Dance and Poker Face. Bacardi also launched their newest mix in drinks based with Bacardi Apple called The Gaga mix. The highlight of the night was the coronation of Gaga of the Night wherein Maldita gave party goers a first look at The Fame Collection inspired by Lady Gaga now available at selected Maldita stores.

Twenty three year old Sharla O’Hara bagged the title as Gaga of the Night and now, her road to fame commences as she is declared The Gaga of Manila.

The surfer at heart embodied the look, personality and the over-all disposition that Lady Gaga exudes though her music and style. Sharla sees herself as an artist who loves to express herself through her works. When asked what is the most Gaga thing she has ever done, Sharla giddily tells a story about how she danced on the ledge of a hip bar in the Metro during her birthday — one of the many things that Lady Gaga herself did during her stint as a dance performer in New York.

Catch The Gaga of Manila, Sharla O’Hara on MAXFM 103.5 where she will give away exciting Lady Gaga merchandise. She will also appear in the post party feature to be shown on MTV Time Out where she was asked close to personal questions to depict how Gaga she can really be.

Lady GaGa is the first artist in nearly ten years to reach the top of the Billboard Hot 100 with her first two chart entries with Poker Face. The New York native, born Stefani Germanotta, previously led the list for three weeks with her first single, Just Dance.

The Haus of Gaga Video Mix Party was held in celebration of Lady Gaga’s success both in her songs and in her album, The Fame. Watch out as MCA Music Inc. together with Maldita moves the Gaga Video Mix from the bar to the malls as DJ Gillette showcases Lady Gaga’s visual and audio masterpieces at selected Music One and Maldita stores this season.
