Kris Allen was declared the winner of American idol this 2009. After weeks of competing with  American Idol hopeful until the season finale facing-off another hopeful Adam Lambert, Kris Allen is declared the winner of AI.

On it’s finale special held at the Nokia Theater, Kris Allen’s winning pieces are “Ain’t No Sunshine” and “What’s Going On“. Winning  the American Idol title this season also makes him sing the winner single, “No Boundaries“.

Present at the grand finale were David Cook (last season’s winner), Lionel Richie, Black Eyed Peas, Carlos Santana, Kiss, Keith urban, Cyndi Lauper, Queen Latifah, Jason Mraz and the rest of season 8 finalists.

Kris Allen is a crowd’s favorite this season and it only means the audience and  fans ruled over the critics.
