Are you getting sick and tired of hearing overplayed songs on the radio, or are you just wanting to hear something fresh and new? If so, why not give Insanara a try?

Insanara is a band composed of Jason Dana Ramos (vocals), Carlos Abbu Jr. (guitar), Billy Abbu (bass), and Paola Aranas (drums), young music artists from Southern City of Iligan.

The band was formed when Jason Ramos decided to write his own songs and invited his three cousins to perform as a band together. No wonder why they came up with a unique name for the band, “Insanara“, derived from “Insan” which means pinsan or cousin, while Sanara is derived from their middle name “Aranas” in backwards.

Insanara’s music style fused from different kinds of music influences from each band member and making their own pop rock music Iliganon style. In fact, these are all present in their single “Pangako Ko“, which has an upbeat jazzy, bossa-like sound with rock on the side, which makes the listeners feel like they wanna groove into it. It’s light and catchy at the same time.

And for sure, the band’s upcoming album “Kandado“, which is about to be released this 2008, will surely be worth your listening time and money, and deserves to be part of your playlist.
