If you want to reminisce and enjoy your favorite songs, artists, tv shows or movies of the past years, a new social network and entertainment community in the name of GetBack media could be of help as it delivers previous decades’ music and other media contents to its users.

GetBack Media (http://www.getback.com) is targetting people of age 35 and above. While users build their social network and get in touch with the online community, it also gives users lots of information including trivia, news and more of 1968 up to 90′s pop culture. It also offers video games, original content and editorial pieces, historical data, fashion and style, comics, image archives, commerce and a lot more.

An agreement with ScreenPlay, a service dealing with major studios, makes it possible for the site to feature movie trailers. Users can also access over 750,000 song samples through an agreement with All Media Guide.

Several music videos are also present on the site through an agreement Universal Music Group and Warner Music Group. The company is also in talks with another records giant, EMI. In addition, users will soon have the option to buy music through iTunes and Amazon. There will also be an option for them to rent films through Netflix.

Unlike existing online social networking sites, users of the site will no longer need to dig in to other websites content as site already comes with the content.

People behind GetBack media are also the founders of Rhino Records, Shout Factory! and digital media veterans from IFILM, and MTV Networks.
