Yesterday, February 12, I was lucky enough to see Fall Out Boy while they are here in Manila prior to their second (or shall I say third) concert in the Philippines.

And I can’t believe it. I was just few inches away from them! I can’t imagine being near with the band behind my favorite songs “I Don’t Care”, “Thriller”, “The Take Over, the Breaks Over”, “This Ain’t a Scene, It’s an Arms Race”, “I’m Like a Lawyer with the Way I’m Always Trying to Get You Off (Me & You)”,  “Thnks fr the Mmrs”, “Dance, Dance” and “Sugar, We’re Going Down”.

Yeah, as we all know, they are here not only to entertain us but maybe also to promote their newest album, Folie A Deux.

I am so excited to watch them if time allows me to do so, or maybe just wait for the DVD release of their Folie A Deux tour if ever there will be one again.

So here’s what happened during the press conference and mall tour held at SM Mall of Asia:

Hey Monday, the band who will be the front act in Fall Out Boys concert came out first and was interviewed by the press.

Right after, Fall Out Boy arrived at the venue of the press conference then later on, they were presented a Gold award for Folie  A Deux album.

Gifts were given to the band members by the organizers. Each of them received a barrel man, (which when opened, you’ll be surprise with what’s gonna pop out, and I think they were surprised)  a souvenir common in the northern part of the Philippines, especially in Baguio City.

Right after the press conference and awarding, together with the MCA Music team, we headed to SM Mall of Asia for the autograph signing where fans have been waiting to catch Pete, Patrick and the rest of the Fall Out Boy band.

When Fall Out Boy arrived, everybody went screaming and shouting, and felt like the whole MOA was growling. You can see how overwhelmed the band was considering this is the second time they to be in Manila.

And before saying goodbye to everyone last night, the band posed for the last time. For more photos, check out all my shots at www.musicrator.com. coming up SOON.

Thanks to MCA Music: Christine, Katherine Choy, Rodel, Ms. Grace Foronda, Mr. Wilson Cruz.
