Right after the successful David vs David concert held at the SM Mall of Asia concert grounds and before leaving the Philippines, David Archuleta expresses his gratitude (on behalf of David Cook) to filipino and international fans who made it to the successful concert of the former american idol finalists.
David Archuleta, says “Salamat” to all fans and concert-goers for last night’s events through his official channel on youtube. On his video, he says, “Wanted to give a quick thanks to everyone! Manila show was so great! Thanks everyone for coming to the show!! Headed back to the states after the international traveling. Will be nice to go home, but can’t wait to go back out and see all the different places! I apologize as always for not being able to get a straight sentence out“.

archuleta is a masterclass vocalist, and a class act all the way. how many stars of his caliber care enough, or are humble and gracious enough to take the time after such a huge show to thank the fans for their support?
this speaks volumes about his character, and whether or not you like his music, one cannot deny he is a rare soul in the ego driven and self centeredness common in the industry.
he is a bona fide star, and is deserving of all the attention and praise he is garnering internationally, and in the united states. am looking forward to watching him continue to blossom and mature into an artist of lasting renown and staying power.

archuleta was expressing his gratitude primarily to his filipino fans for their support… he was gracious and thoughtful enough to include cook – who evidently couldn’t be bothered to show his filipino fans the same courtesy…. don’t get it twisted…. shows the difference between the two.. archuleta has not let his stardom go to his head, and is more considerate of his fans… cook thinks things like this evidently are a waste of time…. archuleta once agains shows why he is more an idol and classier than cook.
Yep, all I can say is that this boy (man now) is a fine human being with a talent just about to seem unreal and his soul is so humble and gracious that the moment we get to know him and his music we cannot get enough of him. I love this kid to death and every single person around him falls in love with him just because he deserves it!!!!
