Daughtry’s debut album has just gone four times platinum. But, what’s more of a good news is that Daughtry is coming to Manila for a live concert for Filipino fans this 2008.

After the successful concert of Mandy Moore, Daughtry’s concert will definitely be another hit at Eastwood City in Libis, Quezon City. This much-awaited visit and performance of Chris and his band will be on July 29, 2008.

Chris Daughtry, the lead vocalist of Daughtry band, was a finalist on the fifth season of American Idol. He is one of the most successful A.I. contestants just like Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood and Clay Aiken.

Aside from a grammy nomination, the band’s debut album is considered as the fastest selling debut rock album in Soundscan history. The album, which got more than 4 million records sold as of April 2008, has also produced chart-topping hits such as “It’s Not Over”, “Home”, “What I Want”, “Over You”, “Crashed”, “Feels Like Tonight”, and “What About Now”.
