Mau Marcelo, the first Philippine Idol, will be competing with other “idols” from the asian region this December 2007 in Jakarta, Indonesia.
I was able to watch the preview few days ago at ABC 5, and all I can say is it’s gonna be a tough fight since the contestants have their own style of singing. But ever since, I believe Mau has the potential even if she doesn’t have the looks that most viewers want to see on TV. I’ve seen her as she competed with Sarah Geronimo years back.
Well, we can vote for her so she can make it. For filipino voters, here’s what you need to do:
Just type VOTE VOTEWORD1 <space> VOTEWORD2 and send it to 2959.
For example, “Vote PHIL SIN” and send it to 2959.

yup. Just type VOTE VOTEWORD1 VOTEWORD2 and send it to 2959. I’ve tried voting a lot of times. Sometimes, the code doesn’t work. Just try to put VOTE if “Vote” doesn’t work.
