The Hidden Agenda

Aside from bringing the latest in music, Music Picks blog also aims to help in the long-time battle over music piracy. There will be no way for this blog to promote or support illegal downloading of copyrighted music and similar materials.

FYI, Music piracy is any form of unauthorized duplication and/or distribution of music including downloading, file sharing, and CD-burning (according to cmta.com). If this will not end, do you think there will still be music for us to enjoy? Not only the music industry suffers here but in the long run, this could cause a negative effect in the world or in our society.

More About This Blog and the Music Lover Blogger

Edarevalo.net domain was born sometime in March 2007 but Music Picks blog officially started way back in November 20, 2007. It was just a personal blog then until the Ed, the owner, realized that he needed to be different and find his niche since a lot has been blogging about personal stuff aside from the fact that he’s a very private person.

The person behind this blog is obviously a music lover or enthusiast. He is no other than Edward T. Arevalo, a Business Management graduate residing in Makati. He is an alumnus of Makati Science High School and had his college degree at Asia Pacific College.

Ever since, Edward (or Ed) wanted to be a DJ. He’s a “frustrated” singer too but he doesn’t stop there as he tries to move closer to his biggest dream through music blogging. If you’ll ask what’s on his music playlist, to let you know, he loves pop music more specifically those songs which fall under genres like R&B, Ballad and a bit of Alternative Rock. He’s a fan of Ne-yo, Usher, Brian McKnight, Luther Vandross, Maroon 5, Justin Timberlake, Josh Groban, U2, OneRepublic, The Fray, Daughtry, R.Kelly, Steve Wonder, Eric Clapton, Matchbox Twenty, Coldplay, Fall Out Boy, 3 Doors Down, and so many more.
